LinkGather - An Overview



This plugin shows you how to export the URLs for all your blogs posts in Google Spreadsheets style.

Get the plugin from the WordPress Plugin Repository by searching for LinkGather, alternatively you can just go to the URL below:

Now you have activated the plugin, you can start using it.

How To


A new tab on the left side of your WordPress admin console will appear called LinkGather:

Hovering over this menu option, you will then see a sub-menu with the different pieces available for you:

Click on the Home title, this will navigate to the plugins homepage which supplies instructions, similar to these, on how to use the plugin.

Post Links


Click the Post Links menu to take you to the page that will show all of your WordPress sites published posts’ URL's. Be aware that for the purposes of these instructions, we are using our blog test site with just a few URL's in it.

You will now see a table with two columns, one for the title of your posts and another for the links of your posts. However how many posts you have will depend on how long this list will be.

At the bottom of the link table, you should see that LinkGather has also added up how many post links you have.

You then also have the option to download the posts in Excel design.

Page Links


The above procedure is exactly the same for Page Links, but instead of showing back published posts, it will bring back published pages instead:

JetPack Links


The option for JetPack URL's is again exactly the same procedure as those above, however, JetPack Links are actually built in short links created by the JetPack plugin. If you have the JetPack plugin installed, you must have the short links option also enabled for our plugin get more info to be able to gather those URL.

If you do not have the JetPack short links module enabled, our plugin will just pull back basic post links instead.

Assuming that you have JetPack short links enabled, clicking on our plugins wp.me Links menu will bring back all those JetPack ShortLinks that it has gathered:
